It is possible to transfer usergoups and users between controllers
As a starting point we have several FX controllers to be syncronized with user groups and users.
Our aim is to have exact same user groups and same users in those groups with same passwords and same rights at all controllers.
1. We choose the controller for the initial user creation (it is not actually "Master" controller, but the one we'll start from)
2. We create a user goup(s) with corresponding rights and mark it's "Synchronize" checkbox.
NOTE: Press "Change" after chekbox marking
This will allow the sending of user group's data to other controllers. Groups without checkbox will not be synchronized and will belong only to this controller.
3. We create the user belonging to corresponding group and mark it's "Synchronize" checkbox.
NOTE: Press "Change" after chekbox marking
This will allow this user's data to be transferred to other controllers. The user(s) without checkbox will not be synchronized and will belong only to this controller.
4. We create STATIONS.DAT configuration file (see controller manula), copy it to every controller, restart every controller and check if there is a communication between controllers (e.g. global points are working, alarm forwarding are ok, etc.)
5. On every other controller (there might be no user groups and users created yet) we need to mark "User rights" checkbox in "Settings -> Synchronizations" page:
NOTE: Press "Change" after chekbox marking
At this moment it would be better to logout from every controller.
6. After that all controllers will immediately start synchronization of user groups and users.
Next user login will be able to do using any of synchronized username and password at any controller.
7. When new usergroup or user will be added on any controller and it's "Synchronize" checkbox will be marked, user data will be transferred to all controllers and it's login will be available.
