Tosibox readiness activation work steps
Tosibox readiness functionality requires atleas bin versio 12.30.01 and substation which has hardware for Tosibox readiness.
Activate the internal Tosibox of the substation:
- Settings->Activations page, retrieve the product code.
- Enter the product code on activations.fidelix.com.
- Enter the received key in the Activation key field.
Activate Tosibox readiness service:
- Send an email to cloudsupport@fidelix.com
- Enter the key received by email in the substation's Settings->Tosibox page.
Network settings:
- Verify the operation of the name server with the active internet connection. For example, Google's 8.8.8.8 works with all operators in Finland.
- Enable the 4G connection from the 4g/3g (WWAN) settings checkbox and set Internet connection as active.
On the bottom of image above is displayed the last time the internet connection was tested and found to be working. If the time is not close to the current time, the internet connection is not working.
Example LAN settings for readiness substation (Substation 2):
Tosibox Readiness is Substation 2 in this case.
- Name server: 8.8.8.8
- IP address: 192.168.11.202
- Default gateway setting does not matter because the internet connection is not configured through this network.
- Leave Internet connection blank because the internet is selected through 4G WWAN.
Example LAN settings for other substations (Substation 1):
- Name server: 8.8.8.8
- IP address: 192.168.11.201
- Set the default gateway to the Tosibox readiness substation, i.e., IP address 192.168.11.202.
- Select Internet connection via LAN network for this substation.
Example LAN settings for other substations (Substation 3):
- Name server: 8.8.8.8
- IP address: 192.168.11.203
- Set the default gateway to the TosiBox readiness substation, i.e., IP address 192.168.11.202.
- Select Internet connection via LAN network for this substation.
Connecting the substation network:
Afterward, you can connect the substations 1, 2, and 3 in the LAN network to each other using an RJ45 network cable, and all devices can send alarms via email, and all devices can be remotely accessed using the Tosibox readiness VPN address.
VPN example with Netmap 10.45.19.0:
- Substation 1: 10.45.19.201
- Substation 2: 10.45.19.202
