What has changed in the battery low-voltage notification?
The battery low-voltage notification in the FX-3000-X has been improved in the latest firmware to make the cause of the alarm clearer.
In previous firmware versions, a low battery voltage could be reported with less clear wording. Because of this, some battery-related issues may previously have gone unnoticed. After updating the firmware, an existing battery issue may therefore become easier to identify.
What to do if you see the battery low-voltage alarm
If your FX-3000-X reports low battery voltage, the battery may need to be replaced.
Replacement batteries are available from the Fidelix warehouse. Use the Fidelix-supplied replacement battery, as it includes copper tape that helps ensure a reliable electrical connection in the small number of devices where contact has been problematic.
