Read the release notes before updating
Each version has separate release notes about new features and fixes. Read the release notes and related instructions carefully before updating. As products develop, features also change. This must be taken into account when updating.
Software version numbering
The software version number shows what kind of changes the update includes. A higher number means a newer software version, no matter whether the version number has two, three, or four parts.
In the three-part model (for example, 11.50.13), the first two numbers describe the software’s main line and major development steps. The last number describes fix and maintenance updates.
